As KENZO describe their SS17 collection as an ‘homage to rave culture and club lore’ – we, at Traum Inc, were thrilled to explore the very definition of rave, bouncing from its origins to its present-day forms. It’s obvious to us that rave culture is not a finished story, it’s still in a state of transition from our past to future – in the middle of which we all are.
On this exciting project, I was in charge of the "Visage" pattern animations below and the animation of the logo later processed through the Kenzo FX. The final montage was displayed in physical Kenzo stores.
